The Urban Heavy Tee is for brands that want a heavyweight tee with character built in. At 7.66 oz (260 GSM), it sits firmly in heavyweight territory. The cut is intentionally boxy and slightly cropped, which puts it in conversation with the Core Tee V2 rather than a traditional standard tee. What sets this one apart is the garment dyeing process. The fabric is dyed after the tee is cut and sewn, which produces a softer hand feel and a slightly washed, lived-in color. Expect subtle variation at seams and edges. That's a feature, not a flaw, and it's what gives garment-dyed tees their distinctive aesthetic. Worth knowing if you're going for a clean, uniform color across a run, this isn't the right base. If you want each piece to feel a little broken in from the start, it is. Construction holds up to the weight. Side seams keep the body structured, double-needle topstitching at the sleeve and bottom hem reinforces the high-wear points, and under 6% shrinkage means consistent sizing after wash. Tear-away tags leave a clean neckline for your own label.
