The Boxier Trash Tee is the rare blank where the material itself is the story. The fabric is 100% reclaimed waste cotton, made from post-industrial cotton scrap that would otherwise be discarded. Everybody.World developed this jersey in 2016 and remains the only place to source it. Conserving water and energy in the process is a real outcome, not a marketing line. At 6.5 oz (216 GSM), the fabric sits in the mid-weight range with a satisfying hand feel. Because the cotton is reclaimed, you'll occasionally see small fiber flecks knitted into the fabric. Think of it the way you'd think about recycled paper. It's a feature of the material, not a defect, and it's worth knowing whether your brand wants a uniform appearance or leans into the recycled aesthetic. The cut is boxy, oversized, and cropped. The body is tubular with no side seams, which gives it a softer drape than side-seamed tees but means it can twist slightly over time with wear and wash. Preshrunk, so sizing stays consistent. Unisex. The supply chain is the other half of the differentiator. Knit, sewn, dyed, and finished in Los Angeles by a fair-wage workforce. Dyes are non-toxic and low-impact. The garment is biodegradable. For brands building on a sustainability story, the certifications and provenance behind this tee are unusually deep.
