Shipping & Returns Policy

This Shipping & Returns Policy describes how ET AL Parent, Inc. (“ET AL,” “we,” “us”) ships products and handles returns, defects, and order issues. This Policy is incorporated into our Terms of Service and uses the same defined terms.
1. Shipping
1.1 Service Area
We currently ship within the fifty United States and the District of Columbia only. We do not ship to U.S. territories, APO/FPO/DPO addresses, freight forwarders, or international destinations at this time.
1.2 Lead Times
Lead times below are estimates and exclude transit time. Lead times begin on the next business day following the triggering event and exclude weekends and U.S. federal holidays.
- Sample Blanks: Ship within an estimated 2-7 business days of order acceptance.
- Decorated Products: A shipping estimate will be provided by ET AL after E-Proof approval and receipt of all required artwork files.
- Cut-and-Sew Products: A shipping estimate will be provided by ET AL after E-Proof approval and receipt of all required artwork and specifications, and where applicable, approval of any pre-production sample. Cut-and-Sew lead times exclude any sampling, prototyping, or development phases agreed in writing.
Lead times do not include carrier transit time, which varies by destination, service level, and carrier. Lead times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not liable for production or carrier delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
1.3 Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on order contents, destination, and selected service. Shipping costs are non-refundable except in the case of a verified defect or ET AL-attributable error covered by Section 3 of this Policy.
1.4 Tracking
Once an order ships, we will email you a tracking number. Tracking information is provided as a courtesy and is generated by the carrier; ET AL does not control or guarantee tracking accuracy or update frequency.
1.5 Title and Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery of the products to the carrier (FOB Origin). Once a shipment has been tendered to the carrier, you bear the risk of loss, damage, or theft in transit. We do not insure shipments by default. If insurance is required, please request it in writing prior to shipment; additional charges may apply.
1.6 Carrier Issues
If a carrier-related issue occurs (lost in transit, damaged in transit, marked delivered but not received), please contact us within seven (7) days of the carrier’s scheduled delivery date. As a courtesy, ET AL will administer a carrier claim on your behalf for shipments where we generated the label and paid carrier costs. Resolution depends on the carrier’s claim outcome and timeline; ET AL does not guarantee replacement, refund, or compensation for carrier losses.
1.7 Address Errors and Refused Deliveries
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. ET AL is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or losses resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses you provide. Packages returned to ET AL due to incorrect address, refused delivery, or unclaimed delivery may be reshipped at your expense or refunded less original shipping costs and a restocking fee at our discretion.
2. Returns: Sample Blanks
Sample Blanks may be returned within thirty (30) days of delivery for a refund to the original payment method, subject to the conditions below.
2.1 Return Conditions
Returned Sample Blanks must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and unaltered;
- In their original packaging with all original tags, labels, and accessories;
- Free of marks, odors (including smoke or fragrance), pet hair, and other signs of use;
- Returned in re-sellable condition.
Items that do not meet these conditions may be refused, returned to you at your expense, or refunded at a reduced amount at our discretion.
2.2 How to Return Sample Blanks
- Email support@et-al.online within thirty (30) days of delivery with your order number and the items you wish to return.
- We will email you a prepaid return shipping label.
- Pack the items securely and drop off the package with the carrier within ten (10) business days of receiving the label.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we will issue a refund to the original payment method within ten (10) business days. Refund timing in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
2.3 Sample Blanks: Return Shipping
ET AL pays return shipping costs for Sample Blank returns made within the return window using the prepaid label we provide. Returns sent without an ET AL-provided label may not be accepted, and shipping costs you incur will not be reimbursed.
3. Returns: Decorated Products and Cut-and-Sew Products
Decorated Products and Cut-and-Sew Products are produced to your specifications and are FINAL SALE. We do not accept returns or exchanges on Decorated Products or Cut-and-Sew Products for reasons of preference, change of mind, sizing decisions you made, color choices you made, fit, or any other reason except as expressly provided below.
3.1 Defects and ET AL-Attributable Errors
We will accept a claim on a Decorated Product or Cut-and-Sew Product if, and only if, the product has:
- A verified defect in materials or workmanship (e.g., torn seams, holes, broken trim, fabric flaws, ink failure, embroidery thread breaks);
- An ET AL-attributable production error that does not match the approved E-Proof and approved specifications (e.g., wrong artwork printed, wrong placement vs. approved E-Proof, wrong color vs. approved E-Proof reference, wrong size or quantity shipped);
- A shipping error (e.g., wrong order or wrong items shipped to you due to ET AL’s mistake).
Variation within the production tolerances stated in our Terms of Service (including ±5% on cut-and-sew quantities, ±3% on measurements, dye lot variation, fabric character, and color variation within reasonable production norms) does not constitute a defect.
Errors that match the approved E-Proof are not eligible for return, replacement, or refund. This includes, without limitation, typographical errors, incorrect artwork files you provided, color references you approved, sizing or placement choices you approved, and specification details you approved.
3.2 How to Submit a Defect or Error Claim
Defect and error claims must be submitted within fourteen (14) days of delivery. Claims received after the fourteen (14) day window will not be considered.
- Email support@et-al.online with your order number, a description of the issue, the affected SKUs and quantities, and clear photographs (and where applicable, video) showing the defect or error.
- We will review your claim within five (5) business days and may request additional information, photographs, or that you return the affected items for inspection. If a return is requested, we will provide a prepaid return label.
- Failure to provide requested information or to return items within ten (10) business days of a return request may result in denial of the claim.
3.3 Remedies
Where a claim is approved, your sole and exclusive remedy is, at ET AL’s election:
- Replacement: Reproduction and shipment of the affected units at no additional cost to you, subject to standard production lead times. Replacement orders are subject to material and supplier availability.
- Store Credit: Issuance of an ET AL store credit equal to the price paid for the affected units (excluding original shipping unless the entire shipment is affected). Store credits are valid for twelve (12) months from issuance.
- Refund: Where replacement is not commercially feasible and store credit is declined, refund of the price paid for the affected units to the original payment method.
ET AL has no other liability for defective or erroneous Decorated Products or Cut-and-Sew Products, including no liability for downstream losses, lost sales, deadline impact, or consequential damages of any kind. See the Limitation of Liability section of our Terms of Service.
3.4 Disposition of Affected Items
Where ET AL approves a claim, we may at our discretion (i) request return of the affected items at our expense, (ii) waive return and allow you to retain or dispose of the affected items, or (iii) request that the items be donated, with your consent, to a charitable organization. Items we request to be returned must be packed in their original condition for inspection.
4. Cancellations
Sample Blanks: May be canceled before the order has been transferred to the supplier or shipped, whichever occurs first.
Decorated Products: May be canceled at any time before E-Proof approval. Once you approve the E-Proof, the order is in production and may not be cancelled.
Cut-and-Sew Products: May be canceled before E-Proof approval. Once you approve the E-Proof, the order is in production and may not be canceled. Cancellation of cut-and-sew development work (sampling, pattern development, fabric sourcing) after such work has commenced is subject to charges for work completed.
To request a cancellation, email support@et-al.online with your order number. Approved cancellations are refunded to the original payment method within ten (10) business days.
5. Refunds and Store Credit
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within ten (10) business days of approval. Bank and card issuer processing times vary; please allow up to one full billing cycle for the refund to appear on your statement.
Store credits are issued as a code or applied to your account, are non-transferable, are not redeemable for cash, and expire twelve (12) months from issuance unless otherwise stated. Store credit may be combined with one promotional code per order at our discretion.
Refunds and store credit are calculated based on the price paid for affected units, exclusive of original shipping (which is refunded only when the entire shipment is affected) and exclusive of any taxes that have been remitted to a tax authority. Where taxes have not yet been remitted at the time of refund, the tax amount associated with refunded units will also be refunded.
6. Chargebacks
If you have an issue with an order, please contact us first; we will work in good faith to resolve it. Initiating a chargeback before contacting ET AL or while a claim is under active review may result in suspension of your account, refusal of future orders, and pursuit of recovery of disputed amounts. Chargebacks filed in bad faith for orders that conform to the approved E-Proof or otherwise do not qualify under this Policy may be disputed by ET AL.
